BreadZone is about my life. My life as it takes the twists and turns of a steep mountain grade roads, some up, some down. My website is to allow you to follow my adventures on these roads.
I am divided into a five major sections. Husband and Family, Dog Training, Cooking, Construction and Photography. None of it is exciting, but that is the way I like it. You may follow my blog for life updates and cooking adventures.
My retired sailor husband and my adult son are number one on my list. They keep me balanced, providing rewards I cannot and will not explain.
We have been raising Great Danes for 14 years now. Five years ago we brought home a dane puppy, Jinkies, who had a host of health problems that took a year to resolve. She was a year before we could start training and socializing her. Because an unsocialized dog has a lot to overcome Trina Strong, trainer, came to our rescue. She and Jinkies then led my way into dog training.
This Breadzone site was started almost 20 years ago, devoted at that time to baking bread and sharing family recipes. I've updated it over the years to include other chapters of my life, including a blog.
My real life job is a Project Manager for a construction company. Projects have been of various sizes, from managing multi million dollar military projects to small, residential upgrades. It is a job that brings new challenges every day. In the office we joke about 1 year in construction is like 7 years in any other business.
Photography has been a hobby since high school. In the last few years I have been learning new skills and try to take different and varied shots, capturing the story of that moment in time.
Check out the different pages, learning a little about me while you do.
